Phineas gently pushed him away from Ferb.
"S-sorry f-Ferb." He stuttered while his cheeks were burning up. This was exactly the expression Ferb was waiting for.
"No problem Phin." He said and just walked back upstairs. The British teenager looked around the corner when he entered the room, and he heard silent footsteps. He grinned and kept moving forward. When he was sitting on his bed his younger brother peeked in the room.
"Euhm, Ferb?" Phineas asked. Ferb just looked at him as he came further into the room.
"Can I ask you something?" he added to his question as he also took a seat on Ferb's bed.
"Sure you can." Ferb responded.
"Can you explain to me what love feels like?" the redhead asked while looking at his feet. "I never fell in love before… well, I think so… and I just wanna know what it feels like…"
Ferb looked at his brother with wide eyes. Phineas, his little stepbrother, his best friend, the one he was in love with asked him what love felt like.
"Phin," he said while putting his hand on Phineas' shoulder. "I'm afraid I can't tell that… it's a feeling that is different for every single person." Ferb explained. Phineas looked at him, his cheeks beginning to turn red again.
"Well, can you try to explain how you experience love then? How you feel… about me…"
Ferb's heart began to race, his cheeks were turning red and he removed his hand from Phineas' shoulder.
"Well, euhm… I-I…" was all Ferb could say at that moment. It made Phineas giggle a bit.
"Calm down bro, it's just me." Phineas hushed his brother with his big smile. Ferb took a deep breath and tried to explain what he felt.
"When you are near me, my heart begins to race… my stomach tingles… I begin to tremble, to get nervous… and I get a very warm feeling inside my heart…" he said with furious red cheeks while he was playing with his fingers.
"Sorry Phin, but that is the way I feel about you… I wonder every single second of the day what it feels like to kiss you… I dream about you every night… I'm jealous when I see someone flirting with you…" he turned toward the boy and grabbed Phineas' hands. Phineas listened to every single thing his stepbrother said. Tears were filling up Ferb's eyes.
"I don't know why, I don't know how, but what I know is that you are the love of my life Phineas Flynn… I will wait forever 'till that day comes that you will love me back if I have to…" tears were falling on the boys' hands. Phineas gently whipped the tears from Ferb's cheeks, just like he did when they were toddlers. Ferb looked the boy in the eyes and took one last deep breath to finish.
"7 years… 7 long years am I having this feelings for you… I was so afraid that you would hate me for it… that you would never wanted to see me again… just like you reacted yesterday… I… I don't w-" Ferb was cut off by Phineas' finger on his lips.
"I never can be mad at you Ferb. I was in shock yesterday, but I would never hate you. You mean so much for me…" he said while he embraced Ferb. The only thing what Ferb could do was sob, but he enjoyed having Phineas' arms around him. It felt good to cry in his arms. It felt good to finally confess his feelings toward his stepbrother after 7 years…
